Privacy Policy
Two things reach us: what you type into the quote form and what you tell us on the phone. That means your name, phone number, email, service address and a description of the plumbing problem. We use it to quote the job, do the work and invoice you. It goes into our scheduling system and nowhere else. We do not sell it.
The short version
We collect what you give us in order to quote and carry out plumbing work. It lives in our scheduling and invoicing system. It is not sold, rented or passed to marketing companies. You can ask for a copy or ask us to delete it, and we will.
Where your information comes from
The quote form on this site. Name, phone number, email address, service address or ZIP code, and whatever you write in the message box.
Phone calls. What you tell us when you book, and the number you called from. If a call is recorded for training you will be told at the start of the call.
The visit itself. Notes your plumber makes about the work, photographs of the plumbing where those are useful for a quote, a warranty record or an insurance claim, and the invoice.
This website. Standard server request data such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. If analytics is running on this site it is configured to measure page traffic in aggregate, and the cookie banner is where you decide whether non-essential cookies are set. Declining them does not break anything on the site.
Why we hold it
To reply to a quote request, which is the reason you sent it.
To schedule a visit, route a plumber to your address and text you an arrival window.
To carry out and record the work, honor a workmanship warranty and answer a question about a job later.
To issue an invoice and take payment.
To meet legal and tax record keeping obligations that apply to the business.
We do not build advertising profiles and we do not use what you tell us to target you anywhere.
Payment details
Card payments are handled by a payment processor. Card numbers are entered into their system and are not stored by us. What we retain is the fact that an invoice was paid, the amount and the date.
Who else sees it
Our scheduling and invoicing software, which stores the record.
The payment processor, for the transaction itself.
A supplier or manufacturer, only where a warranty registration or a special order needs your address.
An accountant or an auditor where records must be produced.
A public authority where the law requires it, for example a permit application to Pikes Peak Regional Building Department, which carries the service address.
Nobody else. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
How long we keep it
Quote requests that do not turn into work: about twelve months, then deleted.
Completed job records and invoices: kept for the period tax and business records law requires, and for the length of any warranty on the work, so that a warranty claim can be checked against what was actually done.
Job photographs: kept with the job record. Photographs are never published anywhere without asking you first.
Call recordings, where they exist: a short retention period, measured in months.
Your choices
Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you.
Ask us to correct something that is wrong.
Ask us to delete your information, and we will do so except where a record has to be kept for tax, warranty or legal reasons. We will tell you if that applies and why.
Ask us to stop contacting you. Reply STOP to any text message, or tell us on the phone.
Residents of Colorado and of other states with consumer privacy laws have rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of personal data, and a right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We apply these to anyone who asks, regardless of where you live, because it is simpler and fairer than sorting people by state.
Children
This is a service for householders. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Making a request
Call the number at the top of this site, or use the contact form and say what you want done. We will confirm who you are before releasing or deleting anything, which usually means matching the request to a job address and phone number on file.
Changes to this policy
If what we collect or how we use it changes, this page changes with it. The version on this page is the one that applies.
